Hardly a handful of films old, Amrita Rao already has two superhits, MAIN HOON NA, VIVAAH and three hits, ISHQ VISHK, MASTI and WELCOME TO SAJJANPUR listed in her resume. Most of the roles that she essayed were performance oriented ones, in which the producers used her girl next door, innocent and demure looks and thus she sort of got caught up in that image. However, it appears that Amrita, like all actresses, wants to prove her versatility, and so is trying her level best to break free of the pretty girl next door image.
The first movie where we got to see her in mini skirts and a sexy 'avatar' was MY NAME IS ANTHONY GONSALVES.
